Vilmate is pleased to announce the opening of a new branch in Kiev.
Located in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, the new branch is a vital step towards the company’s expansion. A new Kiev office is situated in Podil, a major business district and one of the oldest historic neighborhoods of the city. The excellent public transport system covers it very well, and many tech companies use these urban office locations gladly.
Since Boryspil International Airport (Kiev) is the largest and the busiest airport in the country, it offers non-stop flights to various destinations. For instance, it will take you approximately two hours to get from Stockholm to Kiev. With a presence in Kiev, the new office will no doubt bring benefits to our European clients, thus, offering them even more personalized services driven by face-to-face interaction.
By opening a new branch in Kiev, we have joined the largest tech community in Eastern Europe. That will let Vilmate adopt, adept and develop best practices in Big Data Analytics, along with such emerging technologies as BlockChain and Machine Learning. According to infoShare, the total number of developers in Ukraine equals 165,864; while 68,477 (41%) of them are located in Kiev and 23,348 (14%) — in Kharkiv. Despite the fact that Ukrainian IT sector is at a rather early stage, the statistics prove Kiev to have the largest talent pool, which opens the way for hiring ambitious, well-educated and skilled people.
As for our Kiev office, there are 4 employees working there now, and about 10 vacancies are yet to be filled. First of all, we are seeking a recruiter to help us build a scalable recruiting environment and create effective recruiting strategies. Needless to say, there is still much room for growth, new opportunities and experiences. With a workforce of over 70 in Kharkiv, Vilmate as an expanding company is determined to attract and retain the best people. Besides, we genuinely believe that working hard and having fun is a polarity to be managed, for it is equally crucial to delivering good results, directly connecting people, and opening them up to do their best work.
