The client was a US-based AdTech company that partnered with Vilmate as part of the development team to build a web platform for AI-powered video post-production. The product enables the insertion of virtual 3D objects into existing video content without additional filming. Vilmate focused on frontend and backend development, system architecture, and UX, making the client’s AI technology accessible through a scalable web interface.

The client aimed to build a platform that would allow users to insert virtual 3D objects into videos during post-production. The AI technology behind object placement and scene analysis was already being developed on the client’s side.

Vilmate’s challenge was to help turn this technology into a usable, scalable web product. The platform needed to support users with different levels of technical expertise while keeping complex workflows manageable and intuitive.

From a technical standpoint, the web application and its architecture had to be designed to integrate seamlessly with AI-driven services, support collaboration, and remain flexible enough to evolve as the product grew.

As part of the development team, Vilmate contributed to the platform’s web architecture and core product workflows, focusing on frontend and backend development. We helped shape a clear user journey for working with video assets in post-production and designed the platform to stay scalable as the product evolved.

The web application supported multiple user roles, asset management, and collaboration scenarios. We also implemented administrative tools that made it easier to manage users, content, and platform activity as usage grew.

A dedicated “AI Studio” experience allowed users to configure placement parameters and visual adjustments for virtual 3D objects. The platform then orchestrated processing through the client’s AI services responsible for scene analysis and object insertion, returning results back into the web workflow in a predictable, user-friendly way.
